The current popularity of Moscato is no surprise to us, we’ve been selling a 100% Italian Moscato since the 1970’s!
On a trip to Italy, Elmo Pio sampled a wine that has been enjoyed in Italy for hundreds of years. The moment he tasted the wine’s freshness and bright flavor, he knew that this wine was something that needed to be available in the US. It was this product that inspired him to label and import a Moscato of unquestionable quality and freshness. That same wine is what we are honored to still be importing today.
TASTING NOTES
A touch of frizzante, or light effervescence, adds a distinctive and enjoyable balance to our Moscato.
Elmo Pio Moscato is made with 100% Italian Moscato grapes from the famous Pavia region. The wine exhibits a bright, refreshing flavor reminiscent of fresh peach and strawberry.
PAIRS WITH
This versatile wine can be served as an aperitif or to finish a meal. It pairs well with fruit based desserts, cakes, pastries and good friends.

Sweet Red
The growing popularity of sweet red wine has prompted many wine companies to create sweet reds that are a blend of many different grapes with added sugar and sometimes other flavors. Not so with Elmo Pio!
Our Sweet Red isn’t a blend at all, it’s 100% Italian Brachetto d’ Acqui grapes. This grape, grown in the Piemonte region of Italy, is renown for it’s fruity flavor and unmistakable aromas of rose petals.
TASTING NOTES
Similar to our Moscato, Sweet Red has a touch of frizzante. Because of the lighter alcohol content this wine is bright and has a deliciously fresh fruity taste with aromas of black raspberry and black cherry.
PAIRS WITH
Enjoy with friends on a warm summer evening or served with fresh fruit desserts or chocolates, Sweet Red is perfect! And if you enjoy somewhat spicy foods, Sweet Red is a must.

Sweet Rosé
Based on the success of our fully sparkling Pink Moscato, we wanted to create a a version with a touch of frizzante, more in keeping with our classic Moscato.
Using only 100% Italian grapes, we blend our classic Moscato with a small percent of Brachetto D' Acqui grapes to make our Sweet Rosé.
TASTING NOTES
Similar to our Moscato, Sweet Rosé has a touch of frizzante. Because of the lighter alcohol content this wine is bright and has a deliciously fresh fruity flavors of fresh peaches and raspberries paired with a tantalizing sweet finish.
PAIRS WITH
Served well chilled, it’s a wonderful accompaniment to foods with a spicy tang. We invite you to enjoy Sweet Rosé wine with friends, family and always responsibly.

Elmo Pio Asti
Did you know that Asti is made from 100% Moscato grapes? It's true! A true Italian Asti is made from 100% Moscato grapes grown in the Piemonte region of Italy. But only a small percentage of Moscato grapes grown in the Piemonte region can be classified DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita). Basically a DOCG classification means that only the highest quality grapes can be used to make a wine. It's from these DOCG grapes that we make our Asti.
TASTING NOTES
This full sparkling wine will dance on your palate with flavors of freshly picked peaches and strawberries. Like most of our wines, the lighter alcohol means more flavor that will add to your enjoyment

Pink Moscato
We have to be honest, there is no such thing as a "Pink Moscato" grape, but there is such a thing as a quality Pink Moscato wine. Using only 100% Italian grapes, we blend our classic Moscato with a small percent of Brachetto D' Acqui grapes to make a fully sparkling Pink Moscato. Compare our Pink Moscato to the others, there is a difference worth noticing.
TASTING NOTES
If you like our Elmo Pio Moscato, you will thoroughly enjoy this wine. It will dazzle your taste with flavors of fresh peaches with a hint of raspberry.
PAIRS WITH
As a glass of wine at the end of the day or bring a bottle to a party with friends, our Pink Moscato will make the occasion “sparkle”. Oh, and it also pairs well with desserts.

Elmo Pio Chianti
Chianti could be viewed by some as kitschy. No cheesy Italian restaurant is complete without an empty straw bottle of Chianti used as a candle holder on top of a checkered red table cloth.
Chianti by it's very nature is synonymous with tradition, but... what's so wrong about that? Chianti is a medium-bodied red wine with elegant flavors, a subtle nose and a smooth finish. By it's very nature its perfect for paring with traditional Italian cuisine - it complements without over-powering.
And for those not prepared to embrace the kitsch, our Chianti is available in "regular" glass bottles too!
TASTING NOTES
Our Chianti is a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet and is produced by the fifth generation of the Grati family in Rufina, Italy. The wine exhibits the essence of black cherry, ripe plum and spice. Smooth and not too dry.
PAIRS WITH
Traditional Italian dishes such as pasta and tomato-based sauces.

Prosecco is a traditional Italian sparkling white, produced in the Veneto region in the picturesque hills above Venice. Prosecco is Italy's answer to refreshing, well-made, sparkling wine.

Effervescent with a light creamy flavor and crisp acidity.
PAIRS WITH
This versatile extra dry wine can be served as an aperitif or to finish a meal. It pairs well with light dishes, or when combined with fresh peach juice to make Venice's most famous cocktail, the Bellini.
